Lady Wave basketball trio to sign

Head coach Matt Justice will have three talented and seasoned seniors officially move on to the next level Wednesday morning.

Point guard Jaleigha Polk, post player Brianna McMillian, and forward Asia Parlow will continue their basketball careers next fall.

Jaleigha Polk, who averaged 15 PPG and shot 30% from 3-point land, will ink with Mississippi College in Clinton. JP started 87 times in four years and won Team Offensive MVP and Free Throw awards last year.

Brianna McMillian will take her defensive talents to Coahoma CC in Clarksdale. McMillian was known for her ability to come off the bench and add momentum instantly for THS. She led the team with 18 charges last season.

Asia Partlow, who averaged eight PPG and five rebounds, will play for Nanci Gray and the Itawamba CC Lady Indians in Fulton. Partlow’s physicalness on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball will help her earn minutes instantly on the next level.

The signings will take place in the THS cafeteria April 15th at 9:10 a.m.
