Dick’s Sporting Goods will partner with Tupelo High School to host a one-day football camp for children between the ages of 7 and 14. Campers will participate in strength and conditioning work outs as well as learn position tips and tricks. The importance of living a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle will also be discussed with campers. Former Mississippi State tight-end Malcolm Johnson and community leaders will coach the camp, and discuss good decisions on and off the field. Johnson was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 6th Round (195th overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The camp is FREE and open to male and female athletes in Tupelo and the surrounding areas. It will be held at Renasant Field at Golden Wave Stadium on the campus of Tupelo High School, Friday, July 17th from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, cleats, shorts, and a t-shirt. Helmets are not needed. Click here to register.
